I went to Selma High with Hugh and his sister Elaine. Both were models of behavior I strove to emulate. Betty (Briscoe) and I named our daughter after Elaine. Betty rode the bus to school with Elaine, and I attended the First Christian Church.

Met Hugh, Pat and family about 40 years ago at church. What a wonderful family they are! Hugh with his sense of humor, what a character. I know Hugh and Pat have been faithful to the church and Christ over many years. Really appreciated them both as they helped out at my parents funerals as well. Thank you! My condolences to Pat, Dawn and Eve, he'll be missed here but in a better place now.

I wish to extend my sincere condolences to Hugh's wife Pat. I noticed this obituary in the Fresno Bee this morning and when I saw his wife's name-----it stopped me in my tracks. Pat Millerick was MY VERY BEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FRIEND at Heaton School. I am sooooo sorry for your loss, yet sooooo happy for your many years of a loving relationship. I have thought of Patsy Millerick sooooooo many times with such fondness. Please know my heart is with you. You will always have such a special place in my heart. Hugs to you------Love, Jackie Garo Boyajian
