Time goes by so quickly as I are adsorbed into our everyday commitments, i try to remember Hugh Kent. He is still alive in my vision. I see him, probably about 45 years old, vital, obsessing about something, always a generous soul...in his own way. It funny how some people stick and some people don't. Hugh is a sticker in my mind. I appreciate knowing him. I will hold him dear every day of remainder of my life, with hopes of meeting him in the Big Meeting in the Sky.

Hugh is within the network of my life. When I think about him, I smile. He was a kind and thoughtful person. He cared. Although, I saw him periodically, noting his decline, he must be in his late 40s or early 50s in my memory. That is where he will stay as vital, full of energy, and encouraging. I am sitting here smiling as I riffle though the snap shots and conversations with him. He is alive in my memory, that is for sure.

Oh I just found out about Mr. Kent, i am so sorry for your family. He was a very, very dear friend to my mother, Margaret, at the Senior Center. She left me in 2019. I am so sorry I was never able to see Mr.Kent again after my mother´s passing and then Covid. Again, please accept my sympathy and I will pray for him amd your family. He was a wonderful sweet man - the little i knew him. My mother said he was a such a gentleman!

I´ve known Hugh Kent since 1978. We suffered many battles together, both personal and professional. I remember sitting in his office late one evening talking about golf clubs he wanted to purchase for his daughters...I didn´t think it was such a good idea, but he did! How annoying he could be when he wanted you to do something. We both were part of the team that put the Industrial Diversion of Avery International on the map when it needed to be saved. He did more than just purchase the first computer. He brought professionalism to the company. On my birthday, he always called me. My last birthday, he didn´t call and I could not find him. He was a gentle soul, thoughtful, kind, smart, and persistent. I respected and loved this man. He will remain in my heart for the rest of my days on earth.
