My deepest sympathy to Tee and family for the loss of a wonderful husband, dad, and grandfather. Tony will live on in my memories from Baied'Urfee days and marvellous stories of a sailing trip with my mom and dad off Vancouver Island. Forever in my heart.

We were saddened to hear of Tony's death but couldn't help but smile when we saw his picture in The Pique. We fondly remember Tony and Tee in Whistler. He lived life to the fullest.

To Elenor and Family,
It was with sad regret that we learned of Tony's death. He was a great man, father, soldier and engineer. As one soldier to another, "old soldiers never die they simply fade away". We have fond memories of our gatherings in Montreal and various family get-togethers. He will be sadly missed. Wish we could be there with you and the family on Friday to celebrate Tony's life. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family. Our deepest sympathy.
Love Helen, John and Family.

On behalf of Linda, Norm, Greg, Sarah and Laura Ambrose - we can all say our lives were enriched by knowing this kind and generous man who always made us welcome in his home at Whistler. We will miss you Tony and we know how much all of your family and friends will miss you as well. We look forward to celebrating a beautiful life, well lived, on Friday.

On behalf of the King's Own Calgary Regiment, we offer our condolences to the family of Tony Kingsmill. He played a significant part in the Regiments history, and the story of the Kingsmill bridge is a key part of our Regimental Museum. As we celebrate 100 yrs of service this year, the King's Own will remember him.

Tony was a remarkable man - a kinder and more pleasant person would be hard to find. He was one of our group of travellers to Italy in 2007 where a plaque was commemorated at Sant'Angelo for the Kingsmill Bridge in honor of Tony, a modest and unassuming hero. Tony as a captain with RCEME, attached to the Calgary Tanks, designed and supervised the building of a bridge that could be carried by two Sherman tanks and placed across the Gari River, which allowed tanks to cross the Gari River to effectively break the German Gustav Line in the Liri Valley. Our group from Special Travel International of Vancouver enjoyed Tony and Tee very much on the trip. We shall miss him very deeply. Our condolences to Tee and family.
