Hugh McDougall Obituary
Mack honorably served in multiple branches of the military for over 25 years, demonstrating unwavering commitment and resilience throughout his career. His time in the service was a defining chapter of his life, shaping his values and character.
In his spare time, Mack enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and tinkering with various projects.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda McDougall; daughter Shannon Flanigan (Jeremy); sons John, Michael, and Patrick McDougall; brother Frank McDougall; five granddaughters, Kathryn Tauch (Austin), McKenna McDougall, Lindsey Adair, Devyn Flanigan, and Lily Flanigan; one grandson, Logan Flanigan; two great-grandsons, Jacoby McDougall and Tristan Tauch; one great-granddaughter, Amelia Tauch; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Virginia McDougall.
Mack's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
The family will be hosting an intimate celebration of life for close family and friends at a later time.

I remember the first time i met mack he and Linda came home(Pekin,IL) to get married and the first thing he said to me was i always wanted a little sister , he will be missed so much ,Love you from your little sisiter

Hugh was my uncle, may he rest in paradise. He used to call me Gert, why I really don't know. Uncle Hughie will be missed by many. Sending love to the family. Lovr you uncle Hughie I know you are at peace and with grandma and grandpa.

I will always remember when he would call my grandpa, his brother Frank every day or almost every day just to talk on the phone, even if they didn´t talk much, just to be on the phone with each other.
