Hughie will be missed. He could always make you smile and laugh when times were tuff.He was the type of person that could find the best in you and bring it out.He was a kid at heart and thats how he should be remembered.R.I.P BIG DAWG

To the McKelvey family:
I haven't seen Hughie in a few years, but will always remember him while growing up around the corner from you. He was a good kid who left us way too soon.
It was so nice to see you all at his viewing, but i wish it was under different circumstances.
May he rest in peace...

My beloved mother-in-law spoke to me once about Hughie's sweetness which she said was sometimes difficult for others to see.I believe we all saw it in the end.His excitement in picking out a present for each of his loved ones was beautiful and heartbreakingly sweet. His happiness and excitement about this final task was his parting gift.

One of my favorite memories is when we all were up the mountains one summer when I was in grade school. It rained for days & the creek got very full. Brien & Hughie moved a bunch of rocks around in the creek, then we went tubing! It was still raining, but so much fun.

Hughie,
I really enjoyed getting to know you in the last year and half. You fought such a hard battle, which shows how courageous you really were. But now the pain has eased. You will be missed greatly by all who knew you. May you rest in peace.

Hugh was Coupe de Ville's staunchest supporter. We had a blast playing the fund raiser in September. You showed fortitude and bravery through this adversity Hugh and you left us too soon. It's only a matter of time until we're all together again on that other side. Do me a favor buddy, put me on the guest list and save me a seat at the bar. You will not be forgotten.
