Uncle Hughie was one of my favourite people. His fierce pride in his siblings and of his Children and Grandchildren was like no other that I have witnessed.
My Dad and he held a special bond and I like to think that thread was passed on to me. He was there for me at my greatest times of need and helped me face some big losses;sometimes flying thousands of miles to do so.
It was a priviledge to spend the last couple of days with you; Funny and upbeat right to the end.. You made me laugh you made me cry but I loved you.
My thoughts are with Anne and Steve Derek and Shannon as they try to fill the enormous gap he has left behind.
United once again with the love of his life and the brothers and sisters he adored.. Sleep in peace my irreplaceable Uncle Hughie. You take so much love with you.

Long ago it must be I have some memories, preserve those memories, they're all that's left you. My sincerest condolences always.
