I only just heard now about your Dad's passing. As you know I was incredibly fond of him. He spent many hours with me in the radiology department at FMC and was responsible for my profound respect for radiologists. My family has had many hours of tea at the Canmore house with your parents and lots of visits with the various dogs. I often saw him out walking his dog, first in Bel Aire and then in Eagle Ridge, while I was out for a bike ride. He was a wonderful man and will be sadly missed.

i was sorry to hear of Hugh's passing. My condolences to Barb, Will and family. Having lost touch over the years, Hugh always had a special spot in my heart, being my favorite brother in law once upon a time when I was married to Stuart who passed away in 1991.Last time we met was at Stu's funeral and I exclaimed that he was the spitting image of his late dad, Dr. Walter Morrish, well known Radiologist and Dermatologist in Edmonton for many years.

We are so sorry for your loss. I grew up next door to you on Bel-Aire Dr. Much to my surprise, I became your father's neighbour again when we moved to Eagle Ridge about 3 1/2 years ago. I regularly walked my dog alongside Hugh and Honey, and always enjoyed Hugh's company. He was such a special man. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about Dr.Morrish's passing. I worked at FH in Payroll since 1968, we always met in hallways and he always had kind, uplifting words and thoughts. Words really cannot describe the loss.
You will be in my prayers and Dr.Morrish will be in my heart forever!

Will, Nathalie and family,

I noted with sadness Dr. Morrish's obituary in the Edmonton Journal. Though my family's stay in Bel-Air down the hill from you was relatively brief before we moved to Edmonton when I was young, I always remember him as a warm person. My sincere condolences to you.

Dear Will, thinking of you and your family right now. I never met your Dad but he was a contemporary of my father, Bill Johnson, while at U of A. I'm also remembering the good times you, Ron & Stu hosted at your place in the early 80s. All the best to you & your family during this difficult time.

Dear Will, Nathalie, Thomas, Edward and Rosalie,
Our first thought of Dr. Morrish is his electric eyes and generous smile lighting up Lion's Park community in Canmore. We will miss his walks with Honey his faithful companion. Our best neighbor and champion cheerleader for our kids in their athletic pursuits! We will cherish our meals and wonderful discussions on living. Condolences to all touched by Dr. Morrish.

Hugh and Catherine were our part-time neighbours in Canmore, AB. We got to know them in the early 1980's. They were always very kind to the neighbourhood, and we had many nice conversations and visits with them over the years. They even had a Christmas open-house and invited the community to their home so they could get to know us better. A kind and insightful gentleman, Hugh was a great asset to our Town. Catherine came over to see our new baby in 1989 and was delighted that his middle name was Robertson, her family name. Hugh and Catherine will both be missed. Comfort and condolences to their family, and please know they were highly regarded in their Canmore home.

I went to school with Hugh's older brother Stuart and knew Hugh too. We were classmates in medical school and good friends for years. I will miss his affable ways and positive outlook

Hugh was my favorite brother-in-law once upon a time. Regrettably we lost touch for many years. Last time I saw Hugh was at the funeral of my ex husband Stu. When we met I commented how much he resembled his late father, Dr.Walter Morrish of Edmonton. I send my sincerest Condolences to the family, my heart is with you today.

My deepest condolences go to Hugh's friends and family. With only having known Hugh for a short time, I am envious of those who knew him longer. He had the kindest eyes and a way of making each person he stopped to speak with feel special. His quiet strength will always inspire me. Hugh, you will be missed!

Hugh was a wonderful friend and donor to Heritage Park Historical Village. He was in our Railway Cafe almost on a daily basis in the summer months while walking with his best friend, his beloved dog. He was an inspiration to us and we're grateful for Hugh's love of the Park and his thoughtfulness when he made a significant donation in Catherine's honour.

Hugh's life was truly an extraordinary one. May he rest in peace knowing all of the good work he did during his lifetime.
