Hui Fen Wu

Hui Fen Wu, known by her family and friends as "Jessica", passed away from cancer on September 10, 2024, at the Cerritos Vista Healthcare Center in Bellflower, California. She was 68 years old.

Jessica was born in Taiwan on November 9, 1955, and was raised by her loving parents, Hui Wu and Tung-Kuei Wang.

After finishing her schooling, she worked as an administrative assistant for a number of prestigious companies in Taiwan.

In the early 2000s, she decided to move to America. She became a live-in caretaker for several families throughout the Los Angeles area. Jessica's dedication, kindness and warm personality caused many of these families to consider Jessica as one of their own family members.

During the two years prior to her passing, she courageously fought her illness. Friends were amazed at how she stayed strong even during her very difficult days. It was her smile and ability to shine light on a bad situation that her family and friends will remember the most.

Jessica attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Monterey Park, California. Following her funeral mass at the Church, burial took place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights, California.
