I, with my parents and grandparents lived in Olney next to dr leoplods office. He would make house calls for my ill grandmother who couldnt make it into the office. This continued with me, the grandson as we grew up in northeast philly. We loved dr leopold, he was a real person, not a man with a white coat and a needle. When he retired a few years ago I called him to thank him for his care to my grandparents and we cried together on the phone....I told him then as i say again,, God will give the doctor what he seeks as he gave sooooo much for my family....Rest in Peace... Sincerely, The Patton family and Schwengler Families.

He was one of the reasons I went into medicine. My neighbor Anne Petrovich and daughter Anita worked in the office. They would bring me his throw away medical journals. My favorite memory was the fact that your doctor could smoke a pipe and see patients at the same time. Did not know until now we shared the Central experience. Sincerest sympathy , Dr. Edwin S. Hart ,III

As a kid, I lived down the street from Dr. Leopold. I had a sore throat and went to see him. I told the good doc that I thought that I had pharyngitis, and he said to me, "Oh, when did you graduate from medical school?" I just looked at him, embarrassed. He was such a cherished member of the community, and will surely be missed. I know that he will be doing great things on the other side. May God bless him, and his family.

I and my entire family were his patients and we loved him. He had a way about him that was unique. He was made to be a Doctor, We stayed with him until he retired. We offer our condolences to his family who he loved as much as life itself.

I was one of Dr. Leopold's first patience. He was a extremely caring person who came to our house to treat my husband and was very helpful to our family during my husband's last days. He helped arrange transport home for my son who was serving in the Navy in Italy. God Bless you and RIP

Dr.Leopold was one of a kind. He was known to everyone that grew up in Olney. He was like that crazy Uncle that even when you were sick or hurt, he made you laugh. He was beloved and will be missed.

Dr. Leopold was my doctor for a very long time, from grade school until I moved out of Olney in 1991. I always think of him whenever a get a needle. His never hurt much, but then your arm would be sore for days. He was a very nice man and will be missed- Lizanne Malazita Leh

Ron and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of your dad. PCOM put out a lot of great physicians that served the Philadelphia area. Loosing a father is so hard but I hope your will find comfort in all your happy times and memories.
