To Sue, Hamish, Anna and families. I've only heard recently of Ians passing, and what a shock. Ian was an awesome and enthusiastic guy, and very supportive boss in my Dalgety Nelson days. I enjoyed every contact I made with Ian since those days. He meant heaps to me. My sincere condolences to you Sue, Hamish, Anna and families. I know he will be greatly missed.

Please accept condolences from all employees of the Moscow Theological Seminary. We remember Ian Chapman as a wonderful friend of the seminary who left a piece of his heart in Russia. He did a lot for the formation and development of the seminary. At the same time, he never imposed his vision or theology. He said that the Russian seminary should be led by Russian people. Even after the formal resignation from the post of head of RLM. He maintained friendly relations with the seminary.
We will miss him greatly.

Our love and sympathies to you Sue, and your whanau, at this time as we mourn the loss of a truly great gentleman and warrior that we were blessed to have met and spent times together. Sadly they were too few but are treasured moments.
