Dear Dawne,

It was with heavy hearts that we received your phone call to advise us that you had lost your Ian.

Ian was a great friend, physician, and client who enhanced our lives and health for having had the pleasure of knowing him, you, and your family. We are sad he never made it here to try our cross country ski trails, and we shall miss his great sense of humour, his love of life, and his generous, sharing spirit.

We recall great times with you both at the St Andrews Ball, The University Club,The International Wine and Foods Society, Shediac, and your lovely home when we lived in Montreal. What fun we had!

Ian is in the best of hands now, and we offer Thomas Campbell's comforting line from his poem "Hallowed Ground" as a thought for Ian. "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die."

We send all our love and sympathies to you, Leigh Ann, and Geordie.

My sympathies to the Hutchison family. I only encountered Dr. Hutchison briefly when I was a medical student at McGill, but I used to see him frequently attending M.S.O. concerts at Place des Arts (I used to sing with the chorus). As a primarily administrative physician, I always admire my colleagues who are excellent and skilled clinicians.

Dear Dawne, We share your loss and express our sympathy to you and the family. Our thanks for your friendship over the years and the leadership that you and Ian gave in hosting the medical class reunions. The value of Ian"s faith & life as a Christian is best expressed by the Apostle Paul when we read that he said "For we to live is Christ & to die is gain" Bob & Ann Paulette (class of 1954)

To the entire Hutchision family- immediate and extended- especially for Mrs. Dawn Hutchsion, daughter Leigh-Anne(Bill)and son George. I wish to take the occasion to express my most heartfelt sympathy at the loss of one of the most incredible human beings- (doctor, friend, father, gandfather, uncle) I had the honor of knowing. I had the opportunity to learn and share with him. I thank him for the time he lent me. No matter whom he met be it for just a brief time or longer, he gave of himself to that individual. The last time I saw him I kissed his hand- hands of a doctor and gentleman who was truly a rarity in todays world and who helped so many...

Loving thoughts,

Andrea Kis, Montreal Quebec

Dear Mrs. Hutchison and Family,

On behalf of myself and all the Gillette employees who had the honour of having Dr. Hutchison as our Company Physician, I would like to express our deepest and most since condolences to you and your family. Dr. Hutchsion was not only our Physician, he was a friend as well. Regardless of how busy he was, he always made time for each and every one of the employees. Please take care of yourself as this is what Dr. Hutchison would have wanted more than anything, and if I can be of assistance to you at any time, please do not hesitate to call me.

Sincerely,

Ruth Gaudreau
