Ian KEDDIE Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 3, 2019.
KEDDIE Ian Robert (Keds) 16.10.1955 - 30.11.2019

Loved son of the late Gwen and Bob. Adored father of Michele, Megan, Rachel and Joel. Father-in-law of Geoffo and Doel. Grandad to Coop and Tommy. Treasured friend of Angela. Best friend of Duke.

A mountain of a man, with a mountain of a heart, a mountain of a laugh, who is leaving one mountain of a hole. xxx

Loved son of Gwen and Bob (both dec.). Loving brother of all his siblings, supporting uncle to his nieces and nephews and their families. A family man who loved his kids deeply, enjoyed a chat and a beer or three, but most of all he enjoyed having a good laugh, love the Keddie Clan.

Dad, you were my rock, you gave me the strength I've got and will always have. This last 6 weeks we never left each others side, we tackled every challenge head on together. It was the hardest time, but we had some of the best times. They will be my most cherished memories ever. I'll always have a beer for you dad and a bowl of chowder. Love forever and always, Chele Girl.

Dad, this sucks, but as you would say there is nothing that can be done about it now and I know you are in a better place. I could write beautiful words but my hearts aching a little too hard for that, so I will stick to this. Thank you for being my dad, thank you for giving my beautiful boy your handsome eyes and I promise he will know all about you, and he will have an oval ball in his hands more than a round one. Listen for me dad cause I will be chatting to you every day. My love for you will only grow every day that passes until we meet again. I love you more than pizza. My beautiful father, your Meegy, Chris and Tommy. PS give Chance a cuddle for me.

My darling dad, it doesn't seem quite right that the sun continues to come up without you here. I wasn't ready and I still need you, my heart is broken. I'm going to borrow some of your 'Strong' to get me through and I'll give it back when we meet again. With love always and forever, your little Frogsbottom. xxx

Dad, I love and look up to you more than you will ever know, your advice and lessons have always stuck with me, they've helped me through some pretty tough times and I can't thank you enough. We may not have seen each other as much as we liked but I know you were there whenever I needed you. When we did sit back and have a chat it was the best hour of lectures, life lessons and good laughs. I know I'll see you again one day, but I'm going to miss you so much mate. Thanks for everything, Joel.

Ian, you and I finally got back to a really good place and for that I'll be forever grateful. We just ran out of time. Till we meet again, you will always have my love, Ange xxx

Keds, you were always a tough old bastard but once I got to know you you were as soft as butter on the inside. I've got Chele's back so don't worry, love Geoffo.

Grandad, you were always tormenting me and embarrassing me. I hope to grow up as big and strong as you were, without the rough passage out. Love always, Coop (Mudguard).

Much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle. There's no more wondering what you've gunno do next. Thanks for the giggles and farts, Mary and Crew. xxx

A great mate and friend to Steven and Elaine, Graham and Deb and families. R.I.P. big fella, will miss you mate.

Farewell to a special friend, many hours of fun and laughter. Looking down the back will never be the same. We will miss your daily visits, what beautiful memories you leave behind. Cheers, Trav, Em and Korinne.
