Ian Duncan Wood

It is with utmost sadness to announce the passing of our amazing father and husband, Ian Duncan Wood. He passed January 22, 2021 early morning in his sleep after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a great father, husband and friend to many, and we know in our hearts he will be dearly missed and remembered by all. Our dad was a caring individual, a hilarious jokester and often the life of the party. His kindness ensured the people in his life had everything they needed, and usually a good laugh to boot. We celebrated his 60th birthday September 7, 2020, with Ian wearing his favourite "Cancer t-shirt". Though there have been many tears of sadness shed over the last while, Ian would not want us to wallow in sadness forever. He would want us to remember the good times, crack a nostalgic smile and beer then reminisce about all of the joyful memories created in his long impactful life, as this man has left a permanent mark in our minds, hearts and souls. We know that somewhere in the vastness of whatever lies beyond, Ian (or our Dad) is sitting with his parents Jackie and Betty, smiling down at us all and wishing us well. We love you Dad.
