I was so sorry to hear about Ida. There are some people who light up every room they walk into - and Ida was absolutely one of them. Her wild adventures, unstoppable laughter, and that legendary ability to make way too much Italian food will never be forgotten.
She had a rare gift: she could turn an ordinary day into something unforgettable. Whether it was a spontaneous road trip or a dinner that could feed a neighborhood, Ida lived life with a full heart and an unmatched sense of humor. We´re all better for having known her.
Sending you our deepest sympathy, and hoping you find comfort in the joyful memories she leaves behind. Ida´s spirit will always be with us - in laughter, in love, and, of course, in pasta.
With love and remembrance,
Irene Aube-Akiyama

I remember seeing your Mom many times at your house before we went in the Marine Corps (also your Dad sometimes). She was always very welcoming and kind! The last time, I know for sure, I saw her was at your sister`s wedding after Boot Camp.
I know Leonard welcomed her into Heaven! What a wonderful woman! All of you are in my prayers . My deepest condolences to all of you! Paul
