The Dudley family has lost its matriarch and what a loss that is!! My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of sadnessbut I also smile thinking of the reunion she and Willie are having.
Mrs. Dudley touched so many lives, including my daughter, Tanya. She was placed with Mrs. Dudley when Tanya was about 1 years old and those 18 months had been difficult, to say the least. When she first arrived at Mrs. Dudley's she was scared, insecure, and distrustful. After some two years of Mrs. Dudley's love, kindness, and compassion Tanya joined our familyfull of personality, confidence, and a take charge' attitude.
What is remarkable is how unremarkable this story is. Dozens, probably hundreds, of children had their lives turned around by Mrs. Dudley. She could read children better than anyone I have ever known and was a poster child (no pun intended) for unconditional love.
She made me a better person and a better parent. Thank you, Mrs. Dudley, and may you RIP. No one deserves it more.

John 14:1-4
1 Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.
