Ida Gatti

Mrs Gatti made the finest crostolli in the world. She was a real lady and we, the Olsberg Family of Toronto and Germany, will miss her deeply.

When she looked at us, in her eyes and in her smile, we always felt an instant infusion of love. Think of the way she said your name, in that slow, sensitive way, pronouncing every syllable with that wonderful Italian accent... making you feel like you were the one she had been waiting to see. We have been "so lucky" to have had her so long.

My deepest condolences to all of you. She was a wonderful woman and I know you will miss her dearly. You are in my thoughts at this sad time. Much love.
