Ida MARCHETTI Obituary
Born September 23, 1923 in Italy. Passed away peacefully on March 7, 2016 at the Three Links Care Centre in Vancouver at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ergio in 2000, her only daughter Teresa in 2014, sisters Eleonora, Angelina and Elsa. She is survived by son-in-law Caesar Diogo, grandsons Liam and Ethan, sister Anna Livadaru and niece Elsa Tod. Also remembered by relatives in Italy and California. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jude's Catholic Parish, 3078 Renfrew Street, Vancouver. Father Joseph Le celebrant. Entombment to follow at Ocean View's Abbey Mausoleum, 4000 Imperial, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The S.P.C.A., or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Just returned from Italy and all your cousins were saddened of your passing. They all shared wonderful stories of your youth there.
Dancing and singing at the Tegorzo, enjoying outings in the beautiful hills around Fener and Alano Di Piave. They have
lovely memories of the Siragna/Bacchetti family.
I felt your spirit there while hiking and sharing great memories with your cousins and friends during lunches & coffee.
Rest in peace with Teresa & Ergio and all our deceased family. I miss you all very much.

We share a lifetime of wonderful memories during and after the six years that you lived with us. You enjoyed many friendships in Ocean Falls and Vancouver. You are
now in God's hands and reunited with Teresa, Ergio and all your loved ones in paradise. No more worries or pain, R.I.P. Zia Ida.
I will always love you and cherish the precious memories and all the good times together. Until we meet again......Ciao Bella.
