Ida Puccetti

Ida (LaMarra) Puccetti, 86 of East Greenwich and formerly of Providence, died Thursday October 1, 2009 at Kent County Hospital in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Emilio P. Puccetti. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Benedetto and Angelina (Coia) LaMarra. She left a legacy of her family, two daughters; Pamela Christy of East Greenwich and Claudia P. Iannuccilli and her husband Len of East Greenwich. She is survived by her sisters, who are also her best friends; Olga Caniglia of Providence, Esther Capuano and her husband Umberto of Smithfield and Rita LaMarra of Lincoln. She has left six grandchildren who will greatly miss her presence in their lives and her wise advice to each one of them, Leah Christy Roberts and her husband Scott; Seth Christy, Alexandra Iannuccilli, Ashley Iannuccilli, Zachary Christy and his wife Angel, Ian Taylor Iannuccilli, and great grandchildren Lindsay and Luke Roberts. She was the sister of the late Helen LaMarra, Yolanda LaMarra and Albert LaMarra. She was a woman of strength, dignity and kindness, and all were welcome to her home, where she fed the hungry and cared for the sick. A memorial service will be held on November 27th at Pawtuxet Baptist Church, 2157 Broad Street, Cranston, RI 02905.
