IGNATIUS SOLARCZYK Obituary
On Tuesday, July 29, 2014, of South Side. Husband of the late Janet Solarczyk; father of Bart (Tami Laroche) Solarczyk, Barry (Gerard Holt) Solarczyk and Mary (Shawn) Gasiorowski; brother of Conrad and Ronald "Chipper" Solarczyk and the late Richard Solarczyk; grandfather of Steven, Alexis, Emily, and Maryana; also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family. Mr. Solarczyk was a Korean War veteran. Friends received at the JOHN J. GMITER FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 119 S. 15th St., South Side, on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Prince of Peace Parish, at 10 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.

Mary,
Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I can only imagine how difficult your father's illness has been. I hope, with time, it will be easier to remember the good times than the sad. I wish you peace.
