We were saddened to hear the news of Fr. John's passing. We have wonderful memories of his time in Edmonton at our parish. He reminded me so much of my own Father - Fr. Joe that being away from home didn't seem so sad. Memory Eternal!

All of us at St. Luke's Anglican Church in East York (Toronto) were extremely saddened to learn of your dad's call to higher glory in an announcement during mass last Sunday. Our prayers and thoughts are with the entire family as you mourn. Thank God for His assurance that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord", and we know that Clare is now resting from his earthly labours. We too will miss his visits to Lorraine and Roy and Greg, and will always remember his warmth, his hugs and engaging smile. May light perpetual shine upon him as his soul rests in peace.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Papa Scratch's passing. He always reminded me of Santa. May the good memories be always in your heart and may the family be spared further sorrow.
