Ila Warf Dunford

Ila Warf Dunford of the Piney community of Max Meadows, Va., died Sunday, March 6, 2005, in the Pulaski Community Hospital, Pulaski, Va. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 8, at 8 p.m. at the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, Wytheville, Va. Interment will be private. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Paul Dunford; a daughter, Karen Faye Dunford; her parents, John C. and Minnie Cox Warf; three sisters; and one brother. Survivors include four daughters and son-in-law, Paula D. and Leon Alley, Patricia D. Dickinson, Susan D. Sawyers and Sharen K. Dunford, all of Max Meadows, Va.; one son, Larry W. Dunford of Max Meadows, Va.; three sisters and brother-in-law, Freida and Everett Edmonds, Gladys Ingram and Patsy Hall, all of Pulaski, Va.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, John C. and Janet Warf of Charlestown, W.Va., Bobby and Shirley Warf of Dublin, Va., and Eddie A. and Helen Warf of Bristow, Va.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one expected; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. (service time) at Grubb Funeral Home. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville, Va., is in charge of the arrangements.
