Mrs. Imelda E. "Elda" Holloway

Imelda E. Holloway, age 77, of Lincoln went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2012. She was born on August 2, 1935 in Indianola, NE to Fred and Marie Liess. Elda graduated from McCook High School in 1953 and worked in McCook until she married Ralph Holloway on September 25, 1956. They moved to Lincoln where she worked and raised their family. She retired from the Civil Service in 1995. Elda is survived by her husband, Ralph; sons Michael (Denise), Mark (Cindy), and Steven (Carla); brothers Don (Dorothy) Liess and Richard (Sherlyn) Liess; sisters Rita Trimble and Carol (Harold) Erickson; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Monsignor Liam Barr will officiate Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 10 AM, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 7900 Trendwood Drive, Lincoln, NE 68506. Interment following service at Lincoln Memorial Park. Rosary service will be Tuesday at 6 PM at St. Joseph's, with viewing beginning at 5:30 PM.
