Ina Freeman Obituary
Ina was born in Greenock, Scotland to Jean and William Reilly. When she was 19, Ina left her mom and six siblings to begin a new life in the United States.
In the U.S., Ina carved her own course. She graduated from Old Dominion's Dental Assisting Program before earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She found her niche as a dental science teacher for aspiring dental assistants, encouraging and instilling confidence in her students.
Ina saw the best in people. She had a way of making everyone around her feel special. Ina lived a graceful life on her terms-one filled with adventure, laughter, and fun surrounded by great friends and a devoted family who shared her love of music, wine, and great food.
Ina is survived and deeply loved by her husband Daniel Orozco, her daughter Deborah Freeman Levine, her grandson Nathaniel Levine, her sister Esther, and a large family of nieces and nephews in Scotland. Ina's death is an overwhelming loss. We will miss her warmth, kindness, wisdom, generosity, and unconditional love.

One of my fondest memories of Ina, was when she came to NY for a family visit. She had this spectacular teddy bear that I loved at first sight. Ina let me play with it for the entire visit. When it was time to go home, she selfishly handed me the teddy bear. She told me to take good care of her and hug her often. Ina was always so sweet and kind. She had a million dollar smile and spirit to match it! She always thought of others first. She touched my heart so much that I named the bear after her. My heart breaks for you Uncle Dan, Debbie, and Nathaniel and her entire family! My deepest condolences to all of you!

My 1st memory of Ina is from the 1970s, riding in her Volkswagen Beetle, and her long flowing hair as she sang to the music on the radio at the top of her lungs. Ina and Debbie took me on so many adventures in my childhood, ones I will never forget. Debbie and Nate, you were loved deeply by a beautiful soul who you will see again.
