Ines, 87, of Brawley, CA was born January 28, 1935 in Tuxpan, Nayarit, MX and passed away on June 3, 2022 at Pioneers Memorial Hospital, Brawley, CA. She married Leopoldo Padilla in Mexicali, B.C., MX, where they lived for many years until the family emigrated to Brawley, CA. Ines was a housewife. She was also a good wife, mother, grandmother, and good friend. Ines, who professed the catholic religion belonged to Visitadores Por Cristo Group, was a Ministra de la Comunion, and also attended many Movimientos de Cursillos de Cristiandad within the catholic church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leopoldo Padilla; and sons, Ernesto and Gabriel Padilla.

Ines is survived by her daughters, Sandra Navarro, of Phoenix, AZ, Olga Benitez, of San Diego, CA, Eva Padilla, of Coachella, CA, Celia, Martha, and Violanda Padilla, of Brawley, CA; sons, Jose, Ismael, and Alfredo Padilla, of Brawley, CA; twenty-two grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 6-9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary, Brawley, CA. Mass will be officiated by Fr. Claro Ortiz on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 9 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, Brawley, CA followed by a burial at Riverview Cemetery, Brawley, CA.
