WARSAW, Ill. -- Inez M. McMillen, 84, a lifelong resident of Warsaw, Ill., residing at North Adams Home at Mendon for the past five years, passed away at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at Blessing Hospital at Quincy.

She was born on April 3, 1931, at Warsaw, to Raymond and Lou Shipe Tripp. She married Merlin McMillen in Keokuk, Iowa, on July 7, 1949. He preceded her in death Aug. 27, 2005.

Inez was a graduate of Warsaw High School.

She attended the Sutter Salem Bible Church in Sutter and the Bel Air Baptist Church in Keokuk, Iowa.

Inez enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle, collecting dolls and spending time with her family. She loved her special time spent with her friends enjoying activities at North Adams Home at Mendon.

Survivors include four children, Steven (and Geri) McMillen of Quincy, Susan (and Larry) Mulch of Sutter, Michael (and Jayna) McMillen of Warsaw, and Janet (and Steven) Harms of Ursa; a sister, Esther (Denzel) Pagitt of Rantoul; a half brother, Larry Tripp of Rainsville, Ala.; seven grandchildren, Stephanie McMillen of Chippewa Falls, Wis., Tawnya (fiancé, Dave Reynolds) McMillen of Louisiana, Mo., Cari (Bryan) Bross of Burlington, Iowa, Cathy (Jeff) Repplinger of Sutter, Dan (Shari) Mulch of Sutter, Nikki (Antoan) Lee of Tucson, Ariz., and Ryan (Candy) McMillen of Wichita, Kan.; and 15 great-grandchildren, Sydney, Skylar, Paul, Lydia, Abbie, Logan, Kiera, Brady, Zachary, Allison, Kyan, Kadyn, Athena, Saphira and Ariadna.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Eric; and four sisters, Dorothy Alberts, Norma Guy, Mildred Egley and Ruth Menge.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Bel Air Baptist Church in Keokuk with Pastor Nathan Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery at Warsaw.

VISITATION: 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at the Lamporte-St. Clair Funeral Home at Hamilton with family present 5 to 7 p.m.

MEMORIALS: North Adams Home Activities Fund.

ARRANGEMENTS: Lamporte-St. Clair Funeral Home at Hamilton.

I am so sorry I am not going to make visitation. This lady is already missed at North Adams Home. Residents and staff are missing those hugs and giggles. We also will miss Inez's family. You were such a Blessing to her and to all the residents and the staff. I know God is helping you through this loss and that you are thankful that she is with Him in Peace. Thank you for being so wonderful to her "people"! Sending Hugs!
