Justice Inger HANSEN

I met Inger at UBC Law School in 1958 where I was the recpient of her help in our research work. She was very unselfish with her time which she gave to other students. An outstanding public sevant in many fields that she pioneered. Beautiful, generous and gracious, she was the epitome of the wonderous innimigrants that Canada was blessed. Thank you Inger for a life well lived.

I remember Inger Hansen from when I worked at Penitentiary Services many years ago. She was a wonderful, gracious lady who always took time to help others in our office. She will be sadly missed.

I was a young friend of INGER in the early Sixties along with other Danes ( Paul Hansen, Preben Olsen). We discussed mostly our destiny in our new country ( I am a Dutch/Canadian). I lost contact with INGER but was aware of her impressive achievements.

It's been a pleasure working for Inger.
Her wonderful smile always brightened my day. Inger you will be sadly missed.

I had the good fortune to do some work for her on a couple of occasions.

Inger was an exceptionally decent person and a distinguished public servant.

I have very fond memories of Inger at the Office of the Information Commissioner. She was a very dedicated and thrify commissioner. Her contributions to access to information helped to form the foundation of Canada's movement towards transparency.

It was an honour to work under her guidance in the Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada. Her warmth and persona brought stature to the office and the purpose it serves.
