Inis SWEET Obituary
98, went to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark (Newt) W. Sweet, Jr. and is survived by her brother, Wesley Smith and sister-in-law, Patricia of Republic, MO; son Glen, daughter, Bonnie Coloross and son-in-law, Jim; daughter-in-law Linda; three grandsons; two granddaughters-in-law; seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews whom she deeply loved. Sister Sweet was a devout Christian who lived her faith every day and was affiliated with the Assemblies of God. As an influential member of her churches, she taught Sunday school, was a Wednesday Night Quilter, and surrounded herself with other Christians, like her friends, Lucille Womble and Amanda Hampton. When not caring for stray animals, her free time was spent studying Biblical texts and eating anything sweet. Her family and friends will miss her and look forward to meeting her in the sweet bye and bye. A visitation will take place Thursday June 2, from 1-2 pm at Stowers Funeral Home, with funeral services starting at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Condolences may be offered at:

If you looked in the dictionary her picture would be there of what a Christian lady would look like.she would walk by Brother Sweet and I talking about wrestling she would frown !! I will miss her !!

I have always had fond memories of this dear lady. I believe she lived up to her name, Sweet...the one with the smiling eyes. And yes, she will be temporarily missed until we all meet again. All my love to family and friends, Carmen Murray.
