I have known Dancho and his wonderful wife Lyubka since the dawn of democracy in Bulgaria. When they left for the USA, we did not break off contact,on the contrary,we constantly communicated and met. They have helped me and my family a lot.Dancho has a very broad worldview,he is an excellent teacher, with fine sense of humor. He always listens to you carefully and encourages you.Rest in peace Dancho, now you're a star watching us from above and we remembering you!

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Iordanov. Though we had the privilege of knowing him for only a short time, his presence left a tremendous impact on us and the staff at Hillwood. He touched our hearts in ways that will be remembered always. His kindness, warmth, and spirit will be deeply cherished as a wonderful memory, and we hold his loved ones in our thoughts during this time of sorrow.

With deep sorrow I learned of the passing of our dear family friend. We first met him in Seattle, where he was our landlord, but very soon he became much more - a person I will always remember with love and respect.
He was honest, kind, and always ready to help. With optimism and a genuine sense of humor, he could bring lightness into any conversation. He enjoyed telling fascinating and often funny stories about his first years in America, when together with his wife and theirtwo sons he began life anew in a distant country. This required great strength, discipline, and courage - qualities he carried in abundance. With his wife by his side, they managed to build a home, secure work, and raise their children with care and dignity. Although he always longed for his homeland and wished to return, the love for his children and grandchildren kept him in America. He lived a healthy life, found joy in simple things, and valued the people around him. With his jokes and good-natured humor, he spread warmth and kindness wherever he went.
I am grateful that life allowed me to meet him and to share time with such a noble man and true friend.
My heartfelt condolences go to his family, and with special respect to Lyubka - his wife, who was his support and strength.
May his memory be eternal and never forgotten.

For me, Dancho was one of the most disciplined men I have ever met, in the best sense of the word. Everything in his life was orderly, tried and tested, and meaningful. He had a big heart, open to others, but most of all to his wonderful family, where he overcame the age difference with great sincerity, dedication, and a desire to always be helpful. Our walks around the golf course will remain unforgettable to me, our services there, each with our own prayer, but confident that the universe has one creator - God. Also, the evening walks around the neighborhood with his son's puppy, Toby, who walked on his front legs to entertain us. Like any foreigner who had fulfilled his American dream, Dancho never stood still, but read, studied, and developed himself. I liked his caring, gentle, and patient attitude towards his wife, sons, and their families. I also liked the friendships he had built and maintained for so many years. His American pride and his love for his homeland and the dignified Bulgarians were remarkable.
Above all, I cherish his sense of good-natured, harmless humor, which revealed the velvety softness of his unique character.
We will miss you, my friend!

Just a year ago, we had a wonderful time at the Edmonds waterfront, had a peaceful walk, Dancho cracked some jokes and kept the atmosphere light and joyful. We will miss your kindness and deep integrity. Vessie, John and Michelle
