For Dee and the kids, I was glad Mom and Rita could be there to honor Ike and express their feelings of our entire family. We all loved and treasured Ike. I have several very fond memories of Ike: him showing up in Kemp in that '57 T-Bird that made him about the most different thing you could ever expect to experience on the Greenlee farm in the 1950's, Ike coming to the Johnson Station school in Arlington to wrap turbans and drape saris for my sisters school and the very special way he made me, my date (now my wife) and my friends feel at LaTunisia in the early '60's after the prom and after hours. Always warm and always friendly and obviously loving to all of his close and extended family. I will miss him . Love, Leo, Jr.

I would like to offer my sincere sympathy to the Sekhon family on the passing of Ike Sekhon. I was able to meet him through a friendship I share with one of his sons Rajah.

I was always touched by his kindness and warmth. Through the years I became aquainted with many people who knew him and they share the same opinion of this wonderful man.

I can attest that his legacy and zest for life will carry on through his children. One of which I'm proud to call one of my best friends.

I recall a wonderful visit to

La Tunisia in August of 1959 when

I was 15 years old. I went with my

parents and one of my parent's friends whose sister was visiting from Dayton Ohio.

Then in November of 1996 Craig Spitzberg of Dallas wrote a wonderful letter to the Dallas Morning News about Restaurants in

Dallas that no longer exist and mentioned La Tunisia and 'Ike' Sekhon.

My deepest condolences to the entire Sekhon family. You are in my prayers at this difficult time. Mr. Sekhon was blessed man to have have a wonderful family.

I always had such great respect and admiration for Mr. Sekhon. I am proud I was able to know him. I will truly miss seeing him on my trips back to the old neighborhood and talking about golf.

I will always have all the wonderful memories of growing up with the Sekhon family. I am grateful for that.

Respectfully,

Greg Tant
