Irene C. Uribe Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 3, 2024.
Irene C. Uribe went peacefully to heaven the morning of February 18, 2024. She was surrounded with love by her family and friends. Irene was born in Uvalde, Texas on November 30,1931.

She met the love of her life, Max Uribe, at the Rainbow Ball Room in San Jose, CA. They were married in 1950 when he returned from the Navy after serving in World War II.

Irene was a housewife raising her three children Aurora, Max, and Arlene. She also worked for numerous canneries and later for the electronics company, Memorex.

Her favorite pastime was being with her family, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her friends. She enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking, shopping, and really liked helping everyone she met.

Irene came from a large family that included her siblings Isidro, Marie, Irma, Rosie, Esther, Barbara, and John. She had countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that all adored her.

Irene is preceded in death by her wonderful husband, Max, and her son, Max. She will be remembered by her loving daughter Aurora, grandson George, daughter Arlene, grandchildren Jeanarae, Max (Erin), Brenna, Alexander, and great grandchildren Max, Ricky, Alexis, and Elijah.

Mass will be held at St. John Vianney Church.

Auntie Irene was loving, funny, and I will always cherish my memories of her. She will be forever missed but I smile knowing she is with Uncle Max, her son Max, my dad, and our other loved ones up in heaven watching over us. Rest in peace, Auntie. Love you.
