She was a single mother who worked her way up from the bottom as she raised 3 kids. She was strong, humble, forgiving, loving, and loyal to everybody she knew as a friend and family. She loved making people smile and she always did the unexspected to make it happen. (u kno the type fantasies u only see in movies). She took us evrywhere from six flags to sea world to disney world and more. the list can go on longer they will let ne type im sure. All i kno is she wanted me to learn as much as she could teach me and wanted me to see everything she could show me. My mom always had my back whatever it was i was going threw she never let me down.
All i kno is mom i miss u every time i wake to the moment I close my eyes and dnt really kno whats gonna happen now. A world without u has left me in a lost world but i am happy your not in pain no more. I juss wanna say thank u 4 evrrything. Ask the man upstairs if u can come check on me and lead the way. i will never forget u and cant wait to see you again. I know u went to heaven and im not perfect but i pray you will wait for me at the gates. i love u more than any1 can ever dream. i pray i see u soon.
Gone But not Forgotten

I am her son and im sure she woukd appeciate all the kind words. Ima put pictures up soon to share so check back soon.

LOVE U MOM 4 EVR

Irene was my mentor for about 11 years with Blind Services. Our working relationship turned into a true friendship over the years. Our last text -when you told me that you were going to ask James to bring you to Houston so we could go to dinner. Friends for life...your comments Amen. The memories of your smile and laughter will never be forgotten. I will never forget you. Until we meet again...my dear friend. XOXOXO This is the way you would always end your texts.

I will remember Irene most for her generosity. She gave everyone around her everything she had. She gave her money, but her time, her energy, her patience. She made a difference in the community. She was intelligent, funny, kind, organized, and loving. She had a big laugh, a bright smile, a warm hug for anyone who needed it. The world was a better place with her in it. I miss Irene.

I will miss this lovely person. My heart hurts for her family, and I hope there is peace in knowing she has finally reached her heavenly destination. I look forward to seeing her there: her smile and laugh and offering one of her big hugs!
