Irene has always been a woman of strength, grace and her love always shone through even during her most difficult days. Miranda created a Hero project about Irene and all of the qualities she included were from her heart and very accurate.

I had the privilege of working with Ms. Luna at Olton High School for two years and she always had a positive outlook on life despite its trials and tribulations. Her warmth, sincerity, and love for others were qualities that I will always remember about Irene. She was a very special lady! May God bless you as He richly blessed us with her!

I am sad to hear that mrs.luna passed away. She was a sunday school teacher of mine for many years. She was a strong follower of christ and I know she is in heaven with him. Our prayers are with her family.

To the Luna family: I went to school with Irene at Carter-Riverside although it was for one year I instantly hit it off with Irene,she was one of the most sweetest and loyal friends during my highschool year at carter, god bless you are in my prayers.

This is to the Luna family, whom i personally have always had a dear spot in my heart for with wonderful memories growing up around, very sorry for your loss, Irene was always very nice and sweet natured, im sure based on her accomplishments in life she touched alot of peoples hearts, i will miss her deeply.
