Bernice Marie Stubbs Holder May 7, 1927- February 5, 2006 RICHLAND, GA— Bernice Marie Stubbs Holder, 78, died Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Stewart Webster Hospital. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Eastside Cemetery in Lumpkin, GA. Rev. Bill Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be 7 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at L.B. Smith Funeral Home in Richland, GA. Mrs. Holder was born May 7, 1927, daughter of the late Lula Dunaway Stubbs and Henry Stubbs. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She worked at Stewart Webster Hospital for more than 20 years. She was blessed to have had "Three Special Families" one was her personal family, which included her late husband, John, her late son, Marty, her son, Steve, her very special grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she dearly loved; two, her "Special Nephew Family", Ellis, who she helped to raise and dearly loved; three, her "Work Family", the Stewart Webster Hospital staff and Dr. Raju. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Holder and a son, Marty Holder. Survivors include a son, Steve (Lynn) Holder of Richland; grandchildren, Travis Holder of Lumpkin, Josh Holder of Richland, Anne-Marie Germany of Augusta, GA., Jessica Holder and Christiner Holder, both of New York; great grandchildren, Alyssa Holder and Presley Holder; a special nephew, Ellis McWilliams of Starke, FL.; one brother, Horace Stubbs of Albuquerque, NM. Flowers will be accepted. L.B. Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
