My beautiful sister! We have been close even though she lived far away. When we were children I always watched out for her. She was so little and quiet
She was a beautiful person. She loved cats and dogs. All animals. She loved flowers and gardening
We were alike in those ways. Our mom and grandmother liked gardening and cats also. She was a devoted mom, she had 2 boys. We always called each other often.
Irene, you are my hero. So brave and calm. I will love you forever, my sister, till we meet again. Barb

We are saddened to learn of Irene´s passing. She was a delightful lady who was very kind, thoughtful, smart, and caring. It was always a treat to be in her company. May she rest in peace, and may her family take solace in Irene´s wonderful example of a life well lived. God bless her.

In the 70s, Irene and I live near each other for a couple of years. We became fast friends and raised our young children together, sharing the joys and troubles that a parent has.
I remember her as a warm, kind, and fun person and I know she will be sorely missed.
We lost track of each other through the years, but regardless of that, I am very sorry to hear of her suffering and subsequent passing.
May she find forever peace.

I lived near Irene in the early 70s in Taylor, MI. I remember her well. We both had 2 pre-school children and we shared thoughts and troubles along the way. They we moved and lost touch.
She was a kind, warm person and a trusted friend.
I am very sad to hear of her passing.
May she rest in peace.

While Irene's passing has left holes in both our hearts, we are heartened by knowing that her warmth, kindness, grace and spirit for life touched so many people during her time with us. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and her smile and laugh could light up a room like no one else. As we remember her and all our wonderful moments together, we know those holes in our hearts will be filled with joy, peace, and the warm light of memories that will never be forgotten. We hope you'll share some of your own with us.
Her loving sons, Greg and Christopher.
