Arthur and Family Im sorry to hear about the lost of your precious mother for you should know that a mother is the most precious Gift that God our father can give to a family.Your mother was a person of giving. You should be honor to have had her for your mother.Remember God calls you home when he sees that you have done his will here on earth and know it's her turn to be at God's side and watch over you from above.Don't be sad rejoice for she has gone home to prepare a place for you and your family when God calls you home. Her journey here on Earth has ended but in Heaven her journey has just began Remember the memories you made with her Stay strong for each other and dewell on the beautiful memories she left in her path

Losing a loved one is extremely hard and it leaves a void each time one passes. Carry Irene in your heart and your thoughts. I know a day will not go by without thinking of her, but with time the pain will ease and the memories will make you smile. We love you all.

The definition of Mother in law is the mother of ones spouse, but to Mary, Yolanda and Me, Irene was so much more than that. I would like to tell you how much she meant to us, the type of wife, mother, grandmother, woman and friend she was. She never hesitated to help out and her family always came first, she never thought about herself.

If she had a dollar, you had a dollar; She gave without expecting anything in return, and accepted with deep appreciation. She loved her family unconditionally. She had a giving spirit, welcoming smile and a firm unwavering faith in God that made her one of the dearest people in our lives.

She accepted everyone into her home with a smile and open arms, always offered you food and 99% of the time cooked something anyway even if you said no thank you. For her the holidays were for enjoying each other and that’s what she did, she enjoyed her family. The holidays were stress free in her home, the traditions she nurtured were togetherness, laughter and a good time, from the tons of food at Thanksgiving to the all day tamale sessions on Christmas Eve. Those are memories I will treasure and cherish and visit for many years.

She was actively involved in raising all 15 of her grandchildren as well as her 5 great grandchildren. She was an advocate and champion for her family, attending everything from little league and football games, band recitals, graduations, baby showers, birthdays and weddings. Her living legacy of unconditional love, and giving spirit will continue on in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I could go on and on and list everything that she has done for us over the years, but even then I couldn’t begin to convey the kind of woman she was and what she will always mean to us.

To Meme,Danny,& all the Zamora Family,
My family and I, want to express our deepest heartfelt sympathy. She may be gone but she will never be forgotten.I am so glad to have had the pleasure of knowing Irene. She was an amazing person and was always in the best of spirits.Irene was always there for me when I invited her to any of my celebrations and if for some reason she couldn't make it, it was just in her to make sure she got a gift to me, she was always just so kind and giving. She was there at my college graduation this past May 2010,I hope she knew how much I appreciated her and Meme being there,it meant alot to me.She was always smiling, always in a good mood.I'm glad Irene and Meme shared good times with my parents Juan and Nitos when they'd take road trips out to Oklahoma's Winstar..just because!!! I remember when she had to have a procedure done to correct her peripheral vision,I had stopped by my moms and Irene and Meme were there and she showed me her brows she was estatic.I told her WOW Irene,I like them, her eyes were nice, she looked sooo young and beautiful. My parents would go over to her house for menudo when they got the invite which was usually every Sunday. My mom thought that she could make the best menudo but Irene proved her wrong. One day my mom told me,Melinda you have to go over with us to Irene's and Memes one day, Irene's menudo is sooo good! Irene also gave my mom her peach cobbler recipe. One day my mom brought some over to my home and said taste this (because I really don't care for peach cobbler),I got this recipe from Irene, I tried it and let me tell you,it was delicious. Thank You Irene for leaving us with so many memories to treasure.Until we meet again, it's not goodbye, but rather a see you later!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there are no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you, in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all what God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
One thing for certain is I’m not in any pain or suffering anymore
My days on earth are gone, but one day we’ll be together forevermore

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb,
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

My deepest condolences in the loss of your loved one to family and friends. Irene was a blessing to know. In 2008 and 2009 she volunteered enthusiastically in the preparation and celebration of the Fiesta Guadalupana at St. Patrick Cathedral. Her giving spirit and warm smile were gifts that those of us who knew and loved her will remember and carry forth with us.

My heart goes out to my brother Salome, of whom Irene had devoted her life to him, their family and to our Lord.
I extend my condolences also to the Garcia family. I have a prayer from Psalm 145:17-18
The Lord is righteous in all his ways, gracious in all his works. The Lord IS near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.
God Bless
