Iris Mae Carmack

Pam and I just found out about Iris' passing. She was such a favorite of ours.
It makes us sad both to have missed her service and to know she's gone.

Tom and Kathy and all your family: We were sad to hear of Iris's passing. We always enjoyed visiting with Iris--it seemed her concern was always for the other person; lots of compassion. I still chuckle when I recall her telling me she had been sweeping the cement patio in front of Charlotte's house when she realized her Mom was watching her through the window looking kind of frustrated. Iris said she finally realized the problem--"Mom always swept that patio north and south and I was sweeping it east and west!" Lots of good memories. God's strength and peace to all your family.

I remember your mom fondly while we were in high school. She was one of the kindest, most giving, classy lady I have ever met My condolences to you and your family.

Condolences and blessings to all of Iris' family. She was a wonderful, strong and independent woman way before it was "in". She was a Mom to both of us when we lived in the cities. Heaven just received another angel!

I was very saddened to read of Iris's death. She was such a great friend to my Mom. Dayton's Luggage Department has never been the same since the two of them left. I have many good memories from dinners with them at the Legion and Niklow's. Wishing you all peace and good memories.
