Born March 8, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ruby Davis. Iris was a member of The Church of Christ, Robinson. Iris is preceded in death by her husband William Higginbotham and daughter Sandra Higginbotham. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Ruby Withrow of Kimberly, WV; sisters Norma Cartwright of Manila Creek, WV, Fannie Cragio of Manila Creek, WV, Connie Westfall of Poca, WV; two grandchildren Gary Higginbotham of Catleburg, KY, Carla Legg of Gauley Bridge, WV and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Serenity, Beckley, WV with Pastor Jack McNeely officiating. Friends may gather with the family one hour prior to the service at the Chapel of Serenity for visitation.
