Iris Christine Thacker, 81 of Warrenton, VA died on February 17, 2011 at Heathcote Health Center, Haymarket, VA. She was born on September 17, 1929 in Richmond, VA. She was predeceased by her husband Carlyle Alvin Thacker. She was a member of the Haymarket Baptist Church and had retired after 47 years as a Dental Assistant at the Medical College of Virginia. She was an active member of the Fauquier County Senior Center. She is survived by her children Patricia R. Gowen, Chesterfield, VA and Stephen H. Thacker, Warrenton, VA. Grandchildren Kim Sevin, Bradenton, FL, Devron Bourque, Prince George, VA, Christine Thacker, Reston, VA and Stephanie Thacker, Fairfax, VA. Also 5 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2-4PM Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Haymarket Baptist Church, 14800 Washington St., Haymarket, VA with Dr. Charles D. Stewart officiating.
