Iris Townsend

Iris was my lovely sister, she emigrated to the U.S.A.when i was a teenager.She kept in touch sending me the Ebony magazines, birthday cards.I will never forget the lovely pink dress that i received from her which i wore when i sang in the choir at the philharmonic hall in liverpool.My husband Pete and i stayed with her when she came back for a visit and lived in Ipswich.Iris came back to England a few times after emigrating and brought her family with her so i was able to see her and her family. .She was kind and loving i am privileged to call her my sister, I thank GOD for her .

Dear Janet, Mark Stephen and all your family,thinking of you at this sad time.Iris will always be rememberd with thankfulness for the love she gave generosity of heart and spirit.Iam so thankful to have been given such a lovely lady for a sister Although we feel her loss greatly God will wipe away our tears.Iris is in a far better place where this no pain or suffering, she now sings with the angels.
