It has been such a pleasure to spend some time with Mary Ellen and Mr. Cole during the past several years and to witness their singing duo. I only hope that I can maintain my zest for life the way Mr. Cole did. There is definitely a void left by his death. My love and prayers go out to all the Cole family and especially to that wonderful lady - Mary Ellen!

Uncle Irv always welcomed everyone with a genuine smile and big hug that warmed our souls. He had that way of asking you to take a look at something and that fatherly way of talking with you. I hope he is remembered for his beautiful voice, his commitment to family, friends, and faith, and for the strength to be himself regardless of what he was facing. My condolences to my cousins and Mary Ellen for the loss of a husband and father and may you rest in peace, Uncle Irv.

Dear Mary Ellen and family of Irv: I grieve with you at the loss of our friend. I wish there were something I could say or do that would ease the pain of losing someone you love. Since I cannot do that, what I can do is lift your needs up to God, asking Him to comfort you and give you peace, knowing that you did all that was required of you. Sincerely, Jenny and Harley
