I sat next to Irving in the State Senate from 1971 to 1974. He was a kind and wise friend to me as a young 27-year old trying to figure out all the procedures and personalities in the 40-member body. I had no idea about his earlier years in music. That makes him all the more interesting! if there is a way I could contact his daughter Beth, please let me know.
