I just learned(belatedly) bof Irving´s passing. He was my boss at Engelhard Minerals & Chemicals for several years and although he could be a difficult taskmaster, I learned more from Irving.than from any of my other bosses at any of my other employers during my career. By understudying him so closely, I realized he always knew what he wanted and how to get it - although his adversaries did not always understand what he was doing. I must acknowledge my debt to him in my own later career as President and eventually Chairman of a major multinational corporation specializing in international trade. Please rest I´m peace Irving, you were a genius in your field and I thank you for all that learned from you. Sincerely, Dick DIDonna
