In memory of
November 4, 2011
Thank you for posting this on Facebook. We did not hear of his passing until I saw this entry. Although we have never met Irv Seaver, we have been doing business with the dealership for almost 5 years. You can always tell the type of owner a shop has, by how well his employees treat their customers and vendors. The shop is a class act as I am sure Mr Seaver was. He will be missed. Although I bought all my bikes from the dealership after Evan Bell bought it, I remember going into the Santa Ana location in the early 70's with my uncle. I went into that dalership as often as I could. I never got to meet Mr. Seaver, but I am greatfull for the dealership he owned. Like I said, I have bought all four of my bikes from the guy's at Irv Seaver BMW. The guy's are like brotheers to me there. I'm sure Mr. Seaver had something to do with how the dealership is run to this day. It is run very well.... The Seaver family is in my prayers. Scott Abbe Corona, CA

My sincerest sympathies to The Seaver Family. My family lived across the street from them on Foothill Blvd. Dave, Bob and I spent a lot of time exploring the contents of “The Barn”.
My fondest memories are of my last summer with Dave and Bob before moving to San Jose in 1961. They treated my brother Chris and I like part of the family that summer.
A memory I will always cherish. Tom Taylor

My deepest condolences to Irv's family. I was a teenage friend of Pams and spent many nights hanging out at the house when we were teenagers. Memories I will always have with me! Such a wonderful family. Bonnie (Klein) Perkins

Irv Seaver
Was a good friend and boss at Irv Seaver Motorcycles. Threw the years working for Irv I found a man with true values. A real motor cycle enthusiast and a man with great wit. A few years ago I called Irv and thanked him for the impact he made in my life. And I know he had great impact in other lives. Each year we exchanged Christmas letters telling them about our family, Barbara and family and in return Irv would write back and tell about his family.Ann Wrote the last year.
Irv will be missed.

I never had a chance to thank Irv personally. He gave me a trophy for winning first place, 250cc class, 6th Annual Jack Rabbit Trail, 1957. I rode with the Pomona Ramblers. Dave's Motorcycles (sponsor) said this was a very prestious award. This was proven when a national MC magazine mentioned me and pictures were taken at the AMA District 37 Sports Committee meeting. A mighty small world.
Thanks, Bob Welling
