I am thankful I need look now further than my beautiful server -- delicious Bauhaus simplicity of design wedded to sumptuously simple materials (ash wood, travertine marble and glass) -- to remember Irv's talent and taste. But remember that leads me to much deeper thoughts about his menschlichite-- his generosity, intelligence, warmth, and kindness.

Always my loving brother-in-law. This is a terrible loss for our family. He will be fondly remembered always.

Irv was a gentleman to do business with. I worked on many homes he built. He referred me for the window treatments.

My condolences to the entire family.

Irv designed my parents' dream house in Beverly Hills. (All my Groves classmates thought it was an office building.) During the estate work in 2011, we found an artist's rendering; I've shared it in the photos of this guestbook.
Irv was pleased to assist and allayed our concerns about structural issues. It was fun to meet him, and hear his memories of working with our young family in the 1960s.
Holding his family and friends in the light.

A most talented, brilliant, refined and remarkable man; thank G-d Ralph, Phyllis and Anne are spared this news. They would have been shattered.
