Irving Wechsler Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home in Shadyside on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 after a long courageous battle. Beloved husband of Jacquelin Greene Wechsler. Loving father of John (Mary) and Robert (Emily) Wechsler. Loving step-father of Amy (Dean) Drezner, Michael (Nancy) Weissman and Roberta Samuels. Adoring brother of the late Freda Solomon, Sylvia Rosenzweig and Melba Speer. Proud grandfather of Charlotte, Annie & Harry Wechsler, Justin Aber, Julie & Renee Drezner, Nicholas & Benjamin (Val) Samuels and Andrew, Timothy & Katie Weissman. Uncle Buddy to many loving nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many dear friends. Also survived by his first wife, Thelma Weitzen Katz. A long-time CPA with the downtown accounting firm now known as Wechsler, Wolsh and Associates, Buddy was a life master in bridge, a long-time member of the board of Comcast, an avid golf and tennis player, and a generous family patriarch and member of the community. Services at Rodef Shalom Temple, 4905 Fifth Avenue (at Morewood) on Thursday at 1:00 PM. Visitation 1 and ½ hours prior to services at Temple (11:30 AM-1:00 PM). Interment West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation. Contributions may be made to The Gallery at Rodef Shalom Temple, 4905 Fifth Avenue, Pgh, PA 15213 or a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements entrusted to RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC.

Dear Jackie and Family,

Dear Jackie and family,
Harry and I are in Florida and we just heard the news of Buddy's passing. You have our deepest sympathy. He was a great guy and he was vey instrumental in getting Harry into Lintons. He will be missed.

We only met Bud briefly when we were part of the Weschler Leadership Development Institute a few years ago but we wanted to pass along our condolensces and let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
