Peacefully, on Thursday, August 29, 2013. Beloved life-partner of Danielle Gauthier. Devoted father and father-in-law of Stacey and David Berman, Howard, and Stuart. Cherished Papa of Brianne Howard; Amy, Meredith, and Gabriella Berman. Loving brother of Mark, Nicki, and the late Rhona Steinberg. He will be remembered and missed by his friends and family. Special thanks to Brenda and Grace for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, September 1 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 3555 Cote-des-Neiges, # 1906, Sunday through Tuesday evening. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
