Dear Janine and family:
I just learned of your sister“s passing and send my sincerest and heartfelt sympathy. I met Isabel at LSOP while my Mom (Ruth Brady) was there and became quite enthralled with her. Early on, she was a bit quiet and serious but I somehow was able to get a smile from her at times. I joked with her and very often at lunch tricked her into eating her beloved mashed potatoes. I learned about her nursing career in the Army and loved to salute her as I called her Lieutenant Colonel Isabel! I felt very close to her and grew to love so much about her. After my Mom passed I visited LSOP a few times and stopped in to visit with her. I could tell she was getting tired but I could also feel she was very happy to see me. She was quite the woman...I always told her I wish I could have known her in her younger days. She will be missed.
Again I offer my prayers and sincere condolences to you and your family...
XO Peggi
