I remember Isabelle well. she was a beautiful human. Bryn I met first, at Victoria University, where we were both doing Maori Reading Knowledge in about 1966 [it was 'half' a unit in value, as there was no full te reo Maori unit at the time]. Bryn became a friend and I would go to the house where he and Isabelle lived in in Crieff Street for meals sometimes. Bryn used to call Isabelle 'the dragon' sometimes, affectionately, as she was not a dragon at all. I thought they were both wonderful people. Michele Dales

It´s so gentle remembering your beautiful presence Isabelle. An incredibly selfless, generous and giving person, and touched many lives in a beautiful way. Always so interested in others, in life and
sweet to my own Mum on visits when you came to Auckland. Love & light on your journey now! love to all the family especially on the 9th Sandie
