We will miss Mr. Wright very much, especially at our Thanksgiving dinners each year. He was a wonderful person who loved his family very much.

I was saddened when I saw the picture of Ish in the paper this morning...He and my husband Bob volunteered together at the VA and Bob would go by Ish's home to pick him up when he was unable to drive...They were both EPB retirees and such good buddies..They are both volunteering for the Lord now in that beautiful place called "Heaven". Praying for the family, hold those precious memories of Ish close to your heart, he was a wonderful man!!

Our investment club was fortunate to have Ish as a member of our group for many years. It was always a pleasure to see him, and we were sorry when it became necessary for him to resign his membership. Our sympathy is with his family at this sad time.

My condolences on the passing of Ish Wright. I remember fondly the times at Memorial Cardiac Rehab listening to Ish as he told the stories of his time in WWII in the Pacific and life on Sand Mountain.

It was a pleasure to have known Mr. Wright when he volunteered at the VA Clinic. A true gentleman.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr Wright was the sweetest neighbor anyone could ever ask for. He used to come sit on my front porch and talk with my grandfather and my daughter, who is 5 now. They would sit and have conversations, and Mr. Wright seemed to know what she was saying. She loved Mr. Wright. She had to wave at him every time she saw him. When she was learning to talk she had a hard time saying Mr. Wright, so she would say, "Hi White" It used to make Mr. Wright laugh. It will be hard to explain this to her, but she'll understand that Heaven has another angel. As that is exactly what Mr. Wright was. He will be dearly missed.
