Shelley, I'm so very sorry for your family's loss. Your mom was my 2nd grade teacher at Indian Village and she was a wonderful teacher and a lovely, funny lady. There was a time we would run into each other frequently and she would always take time to talk and catch up. Your family is in my prayers

Shelley, so sorry for the loss of your mother. It is never easy when that happens. She certainly lived a long fruitful life. My mother always enjoyed seeing and talking with her at Karen's Kitchen in their later years. God bless.

Shelly, During your time of tremendous loss of Ivadine's parting, love and prayers are being sent your way to comfort you, to have you remember all the wonderful memories that were made during her long life. Obviously she touched, as you have, many people's lives. Surely the empty space left will create sorrow, but the joy of knowing you were privilege to share part of her life, hopefully will help. Proudly and continuely talking about her meaningful life over time will ease her departure by you sharing those memories and thoughts with others. Her unique name is beautiful and I'm so happy you both shared your times together. Calibrating her life when the time is right is your honor to have. My condolences to you and your family during this time of her departure.

I am sorry for your loss. Mrs. Long was my 2nd grade teacher and it was during that year with her that I decided I wanted to be a teacher. She was caring, kind and taught me to love to learn. I hope that through my years of teaching that I inspired my students as she inspired me. I was blessed to have her for that year!
